Matt began performing in a self-constructed theatre he built in his family's New Jersey basement. There, he played everything from men to women, children to animals and the Devil to Madonna (the pop icon, not the Virgin Mary). He went on to earn a BFA in drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts before relocating to Los Angeles, where he works in film, TV, commercials and onstage. Notable credits include the feature film DIVOS! (Winner - Best Actor in a Feature Film, Crown Point International Film Festival), co-star roles in the Netflix series DAHMER - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story and Special, the title role in the national tour of the musical Duck for President, and Sweeney Todd at Hollywood's El Portal Theatre (Best Supporting Male Performance Nominee, Stage Raw Los Angeles Theater Awards).
